Irish partners, Momentum Educate + Innovate, represented the recent PROMOTE project at the Roscommon Career & Employment Expo in Kilbride Community Centre, Roscommon, Ireland, which catered for over 400 attendees on 22 April.
Following the very successful event held in 2025, Roscommon Leader Partnership organised the special event to bring together employers, training providers, education bodies and support services to showcase career opportunities, pathways to employment and upskilling options for people in the Roscommon region. The Expo provided an excellent opportunity for employers to promote their organisation, services and opportunities, engage directly with jobseekers, students and career changers, as well as network with other employers and stakeholders.
For MEI, it proved a success in meeting highly skilled migrant women in-person and discussing our work placement programme. It was also a chance to engage with employers, NGOs and community partners, showcasing how inclusive pathways can unlock talent and create real opportunities for everyone. It also provided a chance to reconnect with Intercultural Support Worker for Refugees Olena Kuzhilna and Tetiana Kolodii, who provided support with translation on the day. Congratulations to Yuliia Turnak, our lucky raffle prize winner on the day. We would like to thank everyone who joined our stand and signed up for a work placement, which will take place between August and December 2026.
If you are interested in a short, supported work placement with an Irish employer, we invite highly skilled migrant women in Ireland to express their interest by completing our short survey:
