About this Project

MEI’s mission is to empower people and through PROMOTE we are equipping highly skilled Ukrainian and migrant women with the essential knowledge and skills to access and thrive in modern, evolving labour markets.

Together with six PROMOTE project partners Folk University, Sweden, Women Engage for a Common Future, Poland Northern Chamber of Commerce, Gairmeach, Ireland,

Outside Media & Knowledge, Germany and HETEL in Spain we will enhance CVET educators’ comprehension of the career integration hurdles and prospects for these women. Engaging highly skilled migrant women and employers in mentorship initiatives, work-based learning, and job placement programmes across partner regions, PROMOTE aims to unlock the full career potential and talent of some of Europe’s most skilled but vulnerable women.

TARGET

By 2027, PROMOTE will upskill over 50 VET educators and 75+ highly skilled Ukrainian and migrant women fostering a more inclusive and dynamic European workforce.

EXPECTED RESULTS

  1. Skills Identification Report: Desk research and interviews with highly skilled migrant women across Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Germany and Poland.
  2. Labour Market Analysis Report: Research of regional labour markets talent shortages and mapping skills relevant to green and digital transition.
  3. Training Materials: Addressed to highly skilled migrant women, including a digital portfolio to showcase their enhanced skills, to employers.
  4. Work-based learning guide: Outlining best practices, methodologies and frameworks for integrating highly skilled migrant women into work environments through work-based learning opportunities. The guide will include job placement programmes for highly skilled migrant women.
