The first issue of the Smart4Food ezine has been launched and is now available FREE to download from the project website. This is the first of five project newsletters that will be published during the two-year lifespan of the project. Smart4Food equips farmers with digital tools and sustainable practices for a better future.
Issue one introduces the Smart4Food project and its goal of developing the “Smart4Food Small Farm Innovative Training Programme”. It also outlines the background to the development of the project and who is most likely to benefit from its work. Further articles reflect on the work done to create the project branding, visual image and website. There is a report on the project kick-off meeting which was hosted by lead partners VuS in Šibenik, Croatia. The final section introduces three of the partners that make up the project consortium.
Smart4Food equips farmers with digital tools and sustainable practices for a better future. Partners are currently carrying out interviews with stakeholders across the EU and researching skills gaps to inform the development of the curriculum.
